Give the Gift of Craft - Making the Perfect Supply Kit For the Crafter You Love By Scott Henderson

If you are a craftsman or scrapbook, you probably know someone who is also keen to make things as you. And you probably also know many others who have never tried to craft and swear they are not a creation of bone in their body. Both types of friends are an excellent opportunity to share your love of the craft with a "made to order" Crafting Kit as a special gift.
When creating a gift for the experienced craftsman or scrapbook, get an idea of what they already love. Is this fabric crafts? Candles? Stencil or stamping? Card do? What are their tastes in colors, styles and ornaments? What they have done - and what the projects were languishing?
For non-artisans in your life (which require a serious conversion), consider that they have other interests. They travel? Raise a family? Cook or read? Are they admire certain artists or styles of decoration? Are they like the things you create?

Candlemaking 101 Take an aluminum pot - is an old well - or buy a new melting pot of wax. Fill it with the essentials: paraffin, stearic acid, candle wicks, a thermometer wax, fragrance oils, dyes and wax (or crayons). Include a mold, and instructions. For the experienced manufacturer of candles, you extravagant with fragrances and dyes, as well as fuses specialty. Tie them in a ribbon.
Embroidery Fun

Combine a series of small round balls, a bottle of liquid starch, craft paint, and instructions for several projects, such as starting hanging Jack O'Lantern Easter eggs or Christmas balls. Wrap the box in the newspaper with a bow made of strips torn.
Stencil It In
Fill out a simple paper mache or cardboard gift box with an assortment of small craft stencils, acrylic paints, a tape or stencil, stencil and brushes and spray varnish or lacquer.
